Bharat Tea Plantation : Cameron Valley Tea (Pot for 2 person : rm 6)

Although I have been to Cameron Highlands (C.H.) for a few times since small, I have never tasted their famous product ~ CAMERON TEA ! There is a Bharat Tea House with the plantations and cafe at Tringkap. You may get a variety of fragrance tea there.

You may have it at Green View Garden's cafe (2nd station when you go along the route up to Brinchang from Simpang Pulai) and its branches, Strawberry Moment which located at De Garden, Ipoh and Brinchang, C.H.

We have had our lunch at Kowloon Restaurant beside Kowloon Hotel , Brinchang. It was operated since my 1st time during my childhood. Although its historical building, the cleanliness of the restaurant was up to standard and the prices of the food are reasonable and fixed. We ordered their specialties like below which was recommended. In a nutshell, we were delighted and satisfied of those dishes and their services was perfect.

Another place to get fresh and cheap vegetables, flowers, fruits, sweet and juicy corns : All at the Vegetable Market just a stone throw from the Equatorial C.H. Hote. It is operated daily from morning until noon unlike the Night Market at Brinchang which open only on weekends.

Before our dinner was served, we have learned the way of folding a swan-like napkin which is put on each table by a handsome waiter.

Quattro Stagion ~ We love this pizza so much ! The pizza bun was crusted not too thin and not too thick. The pizza topping was a perfect match with cheese, tomato paste, onions....

Spagetti Alla Carbonara ~ I personally prefer more of carbonara spagetti than tomato gravy...

How I De-stress during my study weeks for my final professional examination? It was quite headache of what to do to relieve tension in this hectic period. So I chose to spend around 2 hours to spend with my dearest sis to have a good and delicious meal in this tense period. ^^

During the past 3 weeks posting at Teluk Intan (Anson), these as below were what I have tried and those are quite famous there.

I should have buy more of this Heong Peah.... Now feel regret.... I love Heong Peah since I was small and I have tried different brands in Anson, Taiping, Ipoh( Gunung Rapat), KL, Penang and etc... Different places have their own unique taste and texture. Anson's especially this brand which was recommended by my Friend, it is so crispy and filing is just nice, not that sweet as I have had came across some very sweet filing.

My second visit to Al-Fresco this time was to try out my friends' recommended chicken chop (black pepper sauce, mushroom, Mexican style). It is only RM9.90 (if not mistaken). Indeed, after tasting, it is true.

Rojak Ah Chai is situated just beside the Anson wet market. Before the last day there, we tried this out as what we saw on other food blog. RM3.50 per packet and my friends commended that they will prefer more if the rojak sauce is more concentrated.

A must if you visit to Teluk Intan! Their Chee Cheong Fun is totally different from other areas in whole M'sia. There are two so called "producer" which are Liew Kee Chee Cheong Fun (above) and Sam Siew Yea (三少爷) as below.

We had a big feast at Poh Loong Banquet Hall which provides buffet steamboat, ala-carte and catering on the last dinnet at Anson. Riv suggested to order tw0 small packages of food as the restaurant also provides economic dishes packages for small and big families. Then, we ordered 2 packages which consisted of total of 8 different dishes, a soup and desserts which only cost us RM 79.80. It was absolute WORTH for 6 of us and the dishes were utterly DELICIOUS especially their self-made taufu (all of us love it so much) ! We were very satisfy for the dinner there. Thanks to Riv and Alan for their magic performance entertainment which made us crack up. ^^

Peach Ice Blended (rm7.90) ~ Smoothie and love the flavour of peach which was quite strong and just nice...

This year 2010, I had this lovely Christmas meal with my dearest mummy at Winter Warmers Coffee & Tea House. I brought her there because she loves those western classical decoration...with nice flower wallpaper...classic wood furniture..esp. those tea pot and cups with beautiful flowers printed on it...We were having our nice time there.

Lavender Cheese Cake(rm6.50) ~ I felt homemade and nice !

Mushroom Soup (rm6.50) ~ This is always our favourite ! It was strongly recommended by my sister...It was not that creamy as what I prefer....

Savoury Fish Cheese Rice (rm13.90) ~ Delicious ! (My mum's command) It was baked with kinda Thai Chili Sauce mixed with the rice underneath the Cheesy fried Dory Fish... For me, I think they put too much of sauce which it felt I was too wet for me...but nice one !

Tea Egg (rm1) ~ Since my little sister was too hungry..She decided to order this...haha! I could say it was just an usual tea egg that we get everywhere....

Me and my family had our Christmas Eve Dinner at this Purple Cane Tea Restaurant... Prior reaching, I was managed to get out of the massive jam in KL even though I was stuck for almost half an hour at the traffic jam. Luckily I managed to meet my family and have this wonderful dinner with them...What is so special about this restaurant ??? It was recommended by some of my friends and all the food that they serve is cooked with tea...I find it interesting that is why I think of having this spectacular meal with my family...

Zi Zu Lan (rm5 per pax) ~ We are really not Pro in tasting tea...what we tasted was kinda a usual tea...It was recommended by the waiter... ><

Gingerbread Man ~ No, it was not from the restaurant...My sister got it as a gift from buying something....

Poor Gingerbread Man ! And we finally finshed it into our tummy while waiting for the dishes to be served....HAHA !

There rice was cooked with green tea as well....

Peanut Paste (rm3) ~ Strongly recommended to those who love peanut paste. I found it was a bit different from the peanut paste that we have normally....It was velvety and of course fragrance tea smell...Awesome !

p/s : We was surprised that we got a 10 % discount by using Maybank Master card. Check it out !

Couldn't believe that it rained cats and dogs since the noon until the night after a sunny morning which made me sweat madly. Here we were after fetching my chubby sister with Esther~~~Diet Cafe' Do I eat Today?... I actually accidentally saw this cafe is having their promotion via a brochure in my auntie's house. Then I visit their homepage online and found that it was merely a milestone from my house ! That is why I decided to pay a visit there. It is a chill-out point in Cheras Commercial Centre, simplicity in design, cozy and comfy just like home, delivering a casual yet scrumptious dining experience.....

They are newly open home-style modern aussie cafe serving breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week from 8am till 12am...

Homemade Mushroom Soup (rm9)
This is truly mushroom soup as it is rich of mushrooms! Their toasted bread is not really match with the soup. Garlic bread still is the perfect match with mushroom soup for me.

Chicken Parmigiana (rm25)
Grilled marinated chicken breast layered with lettuce, melted cheddar cheese and homemade tomato sauce served with spiced wedges and garden salad. This is utterly unique and delicious!

Smoked Salmon (rm20)
It was quite a moderate portion and the combination of smoke salmon fis, fettucini carbonara sauce was a perfect match flavorsome.

It seemed impossible to go for the hot spring pond at that kinda drizzle rain with thunder every moment during that particular Saturday after our Family Med. posting. Even though it rained cats and dogs outside, we were still insisting to go for it. It was pretty COOL when I reached there. You might see mist above and surround the pond particularly during such a downpour day. It was because of some weather reaction, you know. When I stepped into the pond, what I felt was it was sorta comfortable and relax when you feel the warmness of the water. I was really thinking of immerse myself into the water but the colour of that water halted me from doing so. This let me remind of Korea again. I love Korea Khan steam. Thinking of going again but gonna be long long time some more....There are some specific areas in the pond which you might find it the hottest area until you cannot bear for it after long standing on top of it. So, check it out! ^^

Location: Hulu Langat Hot Spring

After enjoying around 15 mins in that hot spring because of the rain, we went deeper into Hulu Langat where we planned our dinner at a so called Fish Farm Thai Restaurant. The location of this restaurant is quite deep inside the jungle. You have to pass by a long soil pathway without any tar on it. I drove like mad during that time, felt like taking boat. At the moment when we approached the restaurant in the middle of the jungle, I heard ~ ARRRRGHHH!!! in my car. All my friends was totally attracted by the view of the restaurant. It was been built on top of a large fish pond with lots lots of fishes and turtles as well in it. Ha !

Then we had our very first time of full house (16ppls) Thai seafood dinner at the evening.

We ordered 2 kinda of fishes. The above one was not so 'laku'. It was Telapia Fried Bolan Style (rm39). The Pak Sow Kong Steam Limau Thai (rm72) was the best on that nite. It was cooked with a special paste. Kinda difficult to describe....a bit sour and spicy.....

I personally think that this was the second best of the dinner~ Lamb BBQ (rm15)

Never try never know... Sotong cooked with salty eggs(rm28)

The restaurant is spacious and it can accommodate lots of customers with total of 60 tables if not mistaken but I think it is wise to have a phone booking 1st prior you go as it was fulled of customers on that nite.

Spicy prawn with coconut milk (rm22)

Prawn cooked with Sambal Petai (rm22)....The prawn was not that fresh on that day.....

You may top up your rice as much as you like...unlimited...

Crab cooked with curry powder (rm27.50)....In my opinion, their crab and prawn are not really nice as I have tried better that what they served....but still satisfied....

First time came across this SF white TomYam (rm18)...It tasted only sour not spicy...totally different with the usual TomYam.

Their special dessert ~ Tub Tim Krob (rm5)~ It was unique and nice! Recommend to have a try!

Usual famous Thailand dessert >>> Mango Stick Rice (rm8)... I think they should ensure their manggo is sweet enough in order to serve a best one...

A Wet Thai is recommended if you wanna have Thai Cuisine.

Here it is>>> Rendezvous Steak Garden at Tmn. Billion which situated just at the same row of Kaki Corner. It made up of 3 shops, seems the largest steak restaurant around that area. The concept of this restaurant almost the same as Kaki Corner...dimp...cozy....Nevertheless one thing about its exclusivity is those swings build inside the dining area. While waiting for the food to be served, we could just have some flashback memory of those days when we were still kids and enjoyed sitting on the swing in a garden. ><

Chicken Lasagne~rm9.80. Jane who is a lasagna lover and her comments on this was nice with rich of its fillings and the most important thing is CHEESE!

Generally this restaurant offers a reasonable price for all their menu items. There are lots of choices of delicacies available there. I think you can have a try on their steak as well because I saw quite a number of their customers ordered that.

After being around 5 weeks did not get to go home, me and my sis hopped into the car just after we had finished our class yesterday at 12pm sharp back to our home sweet home.... This time we celebrated daddy's birthday(actually not really celebrate la) or in order words family gathering by having a big(high cholesterol) meal>>>Seafood in Ipoh. We vroomed to a seafood restaurant~Unique Seafood Restaurant which located just beside to the Sunway-The Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh.

After walking through a corridor, what we see there are fulled of aquarium with a wide variety of underwater creatures....spider crab...imported abalone....and some weird weird creatures that I have never encountered prior this.

We reached around 7.30pm and it was fulled of customers indoor and outdoor.....Fortunately, there was still have seats for us.....

Braised Shark Fin with Crab Meat(rm10)/ with Crab Meat + Dried Scallop(rm12)....Mum's favourite. Initially, I thought the prices will be sky high for each bowl but I was wrong when I saw through the menu. The content of the soup was riched of shark fins and other ingredients. It was fantastic !

Four Happiness Stewed Beacurd~ Great ! Not tasteless...><

Deep Fried Chicken in Chef Sauce~We have no idea how the chef cooked this chicken...It was like kinda 'bak guar'...chicken in pieces....Yummy!

Pak Su Kong in Nyonya Style(rm30) ~ Usually chinese restaurant's chef'll cook this by just using the ready made sauce that is available everywhere but the chef here made this nyonya sauce by his own. Delicious, indeed!

Fried Kailan in Two Varieties(rm18)~ Nice & unique especially the fried kailan in slices with tiny anchovies....which I only realised after having a few spoon of it. @.@

My 2 little chubby sis...><

Fried Prawn in Green Lemon Sauce (rm32)~This was really special with a little bit of sour taste and this was the first time to have this kinda taste, even my mum also had no idea at all of what secret ingredients did they used.

In a nutshell>>> We were extremely satisfied of what we paid and what we tasted on the nite but the dishes were too late to serve for us and the dishes were served out one by one....Possibly there was too many customers and they was insufficient of chef I guess.... I hereby strongly recommended you that get their menu and book on phone first b4 you go....

I'm a mushroom soup lover but this creamy mushroom soup seemed to be not acceptable by my taste bud. Simply because the taste was exactly same as the mushroom soup taste of Campbell~This is where I guess if Campbell mushroom soup lover may find it nice. Me, myself would always support Maggi mushroom soup which is same as PizzaHut mushroom soup. I like it more than what Campbell produces every year....

Creamy Mushroom Soup (rm6.90)~ It was quite large in portion. Suggest to be share among a few ppl so that you may not easily get sick of the CREAMY ~

Chocolate French Toast~Strongly recommended! The bread was soft, not dry and compact. No wonder everyone have one on their table. ^^

2nd October 2010.5am.BrogaHill. All of us reached the 4th peak at around 6am. It was still dawn. The weather during the day was extremely nice & suitable for hiking. Even though it was a little bit wet but not slippery....We were so lucky. =) Hiking this BrogaHill was not that difficult compared to our BTN camp~burunghantu(NiteHiking)@Pahang. You may need a torchlight in the dawn while hiking and please bring along some tit-bits because you may feel hypoglycaemia when you reach the peak....TQ XiongXiong for the tit-bits this time....

This was the relaxing Saturday when me and my sis were hunting for light food with my cousins and aunt around IOI Boulevard opposite of Puchong IOI mall. As we had no intention of cracking our brain over thinking what to have, we decided to saunter around this area. What we noticed that was there are many eateries around as well as in the IOI Boulevard. Here come the problem where it's kinda troublesome in deciding which ideal cafe to dine in without having any research or recommendation.

We spotted this Chinese restaurant~Tian Hoe Kitchen 天和阁.

When I stepped into the restaurant, I felt like there was kinda kopitiam style where old people used to have their coffee and chat like those days what I saw in my hometown when I was small.

We ordered a bowl of homemade fish balls just because of the big board which showed full of fish balls hanging at the entrance of the shop~ meaning they are famous with their handmade fish balls??? Perhaps, they should change the big board. >< Y I say so Not because their fish balls is bad but what I think they shouldn't make it as like they are famous with their fish ball. My comment on their fish ball= Just like usual fish ball.

Black glutinous rice porridge (Dessert)~ Just nice with their santan. ^^

My favourite fried dumpling 锅贴~ Recommended ! It was cute and small in size (smaller and expensive than what I get usually in Ipoh) but it was really perfectly served with ginger slices (optional).

Desserts corner beside the Petronas of Bdr. Puchong Jaya. There are varieties of Chinese desserts available there.Black sesame porridge, peanuts porridge..... Range of price from rm2~4.

Open only at weekend around 12pm until around 3pm (as long as all sold out). Most probably they will close very early. They have a lot of long term customers particularly residents over Bandar Puchong Jaya.

This is the best and cheap Honeydew melon sago dessert that I ever had at KL and Selangor area.

Juicy, riched of fibres, not that sweet and more and more sago. Only at rm 2. There are mango, water melon and strawberry flavour as well.

Soya, barley and Yuba dessert~ Yummy ! Barley was nicely cooked.

In my family, there is not only me who crazy for Korean stuffs, my cousin is enthusiastic toward Korean items as well more than ever~Korean Food ! That's the reason that Korean BBQ Daorae brought to our mind. Even though the nite was congested with heavy traffic jam outside, it was not our stumbling block that thwarted us from getting to one of the branches of this particular Korean Restaurant in Bdr. Puteri Puchong.

I was delighted to see these 2 pcs of endearing and adorable Korean tradisional kid costumes at the main entrance of the restaurant.

The environment inside was not that smoky as it was well-equipped with the oil-smoke extracting ventilation system for indoor BBQ.

Long time no see =) .....Korean style cutlery set....

My FAVOURITE Korean Seaweed Soup ! It is good for skin and in slimming. Ha!

A must for other ingredients like sesame oil, onion slices, garlic and Korean made spicy paste to have a perfect tradisional Korean way of eating.

We were needed to order 2 kinda meats among chicken, pork, beef or lamb to have our BBQ launch.

Pork Special(rm35)~Selected cuts of pork that is soft and tender, served with seasoned sesame oil sauce.

It was kinda Korean curry which was just nice in the degree of spicy and not sour like laksa or tomyam. It was pretty large in portion where we gotta take away the rest that we were not able to finish it on the spot as we were fulled with the rest that I mentioned above.

We finished our dinner with so called~ rice beverage and juicy watermelons.....Total bill~rm123 for 4 persons.

LeVain Boulangerie Patisserie is an ideal spot for breakfast, tea-time and gathering. It was fully occupied by customers in the sunny weekend morning when me and my housemate reached there. The cafe design is kinda cottage house style and there is a ample parking lots for customer cars. It is actually located near to the Prince Court Medical Centre.

Time flies....7 weeks of hectic O&G posting was finally ended officially. As a reward to our hard works for these 7 weeks, we headed to Sunway Giza Shopping Mall, located at Kota Damansara for Tao Authentic Asian Cuisine (Japanese buffet). This is one of the famous among those Japanese buffet restaurants around KL and it is famous in Penang as well.

Besides getting a VIP waitress service who specialized in serving us(VIP~as we went in big group), we were pretty lucky to have 10% discount for our dinner as they are having early bird promotion now daily b4 7pm.

After being brought to settle down at the VIP corner, we were being briefed the way of food serving at Tao. There are only 10% of food from their menu which are ready to be picked-up (self-service), we were needed to order the 90% choices of food that are available in their menu. 1st of all, they served us their TOP 10 famous dishes, but unfortunately we didn't have the chance to have a taste on their famous lamb chop.... haiz...because lamb was out of stock on that particular time. After KTV with my sisters, we went to De Garden, Ipoh~ Boston for our dinner. It was situated just opposite to Jaya Jusco, Kinta City, Ipoh. The restaurant looked dim with yellow lights. Items for selection are lesser compared to Wong Kok and all the prices is soooo expensive. You may get a roti canai in rm7++ with lamb curry. i think that roti canai won't be that nice as what we can get in mamak stall with cheaper price.

The quantity of the rice is lesser compared to Wong Kok.

Long time ago, I have been heard of this cafe ~Kaki Corner Cafe~ but haven't make a visit there even though I stay near there until this very tiring day after a whole day of busy works with my red team gang. It is a spacious and cozy cafe with live band at night among the few western food restaurants over there which located in the same row of shops with this cafe.

The interior condition of the cafe is air-conditioned and there is small stage for live band performance around 9pm with a big LCD screen.

I love this White Cream Cheese Chicken Chop(rm11.80) so much! It was fantastic with its fine and concentrated gravy. Prices of all the food available there is pretty cheap and worth by its quantity and quality.

Honey Dew fruit juice without ice rm 5.80. Not too sweet, taste like smoothies, strong honey dew taste and just nice !

We decided to cancel our plan to Venezia Itallian Restaurant as it was not having business in this very Merdeka Day. Then we headed to Sifu Wantan Mee as all the others haven try it before. It was my 2nd visit. This time I tried out other dishes. Out of my expectation, the curry mee (rm5+) above was fantastic ! I dint expect that much as this bowl of curry mee was nicer than the one sell at the mamak stall opposite to my apartment. Curry Mee lover can have a try there !

Sifu Wantan Mee has another slogan as well ~ 天下第一辣（The Hottest in the world). Initially, I thought that means nothing but I was wrong until my cousin ordered this so called~2nd hottest Pan Mee. After I tried for only 1 stripe of noodle with all the ingredients mixed with it, I totally surrendered. It was so spicy with only 1 stripe of noodle which caused me and others who tried the noodle cried on the spot and we sneezed somemore. Can u imagine how spicy is it ?! Luckily, she dint ordered the HOTTEST Pan Mee that is available. She drank 2 glasses of Lemon juice and ended up not finishing the whole bowl. Chilies Lover may have a challenge of this ! This bowl of FUZok YIMI~rm2. Sweet and just nice with all the ingredients inside. Recommended !

Din Tai Fung Restaurant was suggested by my sis. I wonder why. She said it always occupied by customers and look fulled of customers always. That's y we went in and have a try. After trying the food, I banned this particular restaurant as its expensive price which not worth and the food served were out of expectation.

The good thing is Maybank visa card holder can have one extra basket of (Xiao Lung Bao) FOC with spending above rm30.

This small dish (xiao cai) costed us rm7.80. Taste dull. My mum can cook better than this !

We ordered 1 combo set consisted of 3 pcs of fish dump set, 3 pcs of Xiao Lung Bao set, 1 Hot and sour LaMian set with 1 cup of tea (refillable)~rm 19.80. The fish dump tasted moderate, nothing special.

I still prefer Xiao Lung Bao that available at Asean Cafe at SS15 opposite of Taylor and Nilai branch college. The sifu there is from China ! U may taste original XLB from China ! The filling of XLB here is less sweet and the pao skin is that soft. 6 pcs XLB~rm 9.80 (so expensive!) I can get 5 pcs China original taste XLB with only rm 5 from SS15 ! OMG!

Special combination of prawn, mayonaisse, mango and crusted bread wrapper~Mango Roll (rm7.80)

Dan Dan La Mian ~rm 10.80. Taste so ordinary.

Hot and Sour La Mian looks like Lo Mee but riched of pepper. Can u imagine this whole bowl of mee, what I tasted only Pepper taste. haiz. Totally disappointed !

After leaving Slim River, we passed by Tanjung Malim purposely just to try out my friend's father recommendation. Below was where we had our tasteful 叉烧，烧鸡，烧鸭饭(roasted pork,roasted chicken and roasted duck. This restaurant was fulled of customers no matter what religion. >>> means the food there is NICE ! Recommended ! To friends who are going somewhere near there, may pay a visit there but please not at night. I guess their business operation time is only in the morning and noon.

Restaurant San Cia is situated just beside the bus station of Tanjung Malim.

Roasted pork+roasted chicken rice~rm4.20.

Roasted pork+roasted chicken+ add on mix vege= rm4.90. 西洋菜汤(Sai Yeung Choi soup) is FOC along with each order. The soup was nice as well.

Yik Mun ~Famous Tanjung Malim Pau. Each rm 1.70, no matter curry beef or chicken. Some comments>> Good!, not nice at all.....I think it depends on your taste bud lo....

Ko Hyang~ Korean Country Delights at The garden, lower ground. Prior visiting here, I heard some poor comments from my friend but today I still chose to be there. This was because it was suggested by my sister. Since Sushi Tei is not running business yet, so we have decided to have a try and taste how izzit.

Kimchi Ji Gye~rm 14.90 ordered by Korean food lover(Jane) especially Kimchi. Her comment was it tasted almost the same as what she had been tried at Amcorp Mall's Restaurant Haeun Khon. When I tried the taufu in the kimchi soup, it was rather rough than soft taufu that I had tried in Korea before.
Wonder why this bibimbap(rm15.90) portion is smaller than what I had before in other Korean Restaurant. I prefer to eat bibimbap with a stone Korean made bowl and more vinegared hot pepper sauce will serve better in this bowl of bibimbap. The side dishes(anchovy, bean sprout) taste and quality were so different from Korea origin. It really was M'sia's sea anchovy(Korea anchovy is a bit thinner and longer in shape and not that salty) salty taste where the anchovy should be a little bit sweet in taste actually after cooked. Overall, not recommended.

First time having this Kimchi Pancake(rm9.50). Hence, not much of commend. Can have a try....You may taste kimchi that have been cooked inside the pancake. Not bad.

Snow ice~(rm7.50). It was spectacular and special with chestnut paste( i guess) in between layers of blended ice and red bean paste. The blended ice was rather unrefined.

新汉城(New Han Cheng) located at the first shop of the first row of shop just behind Jaya Jusco, Kinta City, Ipoh. I had a family gathering with daddy, mummy and both my sisters during the Saturday afternoon. We decided to take a promotion package of dishes with one add-on 宫保肉片(Gong bo pork slice)~total=rm60+. The steamed egg above was nice with mixture of other 2 types of eggs which are salted egg and preserved egg. Overall, we were pretty satisfied with the dishes served over there. Then, we left with fulled tummy until not eating main coarse meal for our dinner, only with snacks on that day after.

'hair gour bark'(hokkien)/'lai liu har'(cantonese) cooked with onions sweet and spicy....

Lettuce cooked with special paste....tasted a bit spicy and milky....unsure of the ingredients that the chef used. It was special.

Multi-purpose Korean Vingared Hot Pepper Paste~ A must for Bibimbap ! Of course there is other usage as to add on Korean flavour to your dishes....(bought from Korea around RM 15)....I heard from my friend that this is now available at M'sia as well.

Recommended ! Nice and slightly salty Korean biscuits with no sugar and less oil added compare to M'sia's biscuits product but a bit expensive. It's around rm12+ available at Jusco, Midvalley. Small box is available at rm 6+. Have a nice try !

I love cereal bar ! Above products are my food souvenirs from England gifted by daddy. Love Jordans cereal bar especially raspberry flavour. Heard from dad that each bar costs 0.45pound. It is pretty cheap for England citizens. I guess I cant get a cereal bar with 45 cents in M'sia. haiz....

My first try on Carl's Jr.~ Carl Catch Combo~rm 14.60. It was quite big in portion. Will have a second visit and try chicken burger next time. ><

Stimulus of my mood~dense chocolate cake or cheese cake. Above is Starbuck waiter's recommendation> Chocolate cake?? not really remember the exact name..paiseh...around rm7.

I have tried Udon mee before but that is not as good as these. Accidentally bought these from Korea Food Fair with rm2.50+ from Jusco, Midvalley. Nice, big portion with several flavours available. Normal price rm3.50.

小笼包（xiao long pau) ~rm 5 from Asian Cafe, SS15. One mouth make me feel to have another mouth with the sweet soup inside it.

I thought that this was sorta Chinese temple when I first attempt looking at the outside decoration of this Chinese Restaurant. This restaurant gave me kinda "Wong Sifu" style and it is situated at Jln. Manis 4, just a stone throw from Cheras Leisure Mall. "Sifu Wantan Mee" (nonhalal) was recommended by my fren, HC.

"Char Xiu Rice"~rm 6++.The 'char xiu' was adequately in its taste. By the way, if there is a fried egg served with it, I personally guess that could make this plate of dish more prefect. ^^

My fren recommended us this wantan soup but I think it was just up to the usual level~not too bad and not too good. It was actually expensive wantan that I taste like usual wantan which comes together with wantan mee everywhere in hawker stalls.

I love Korean cuisine very much ! I have been visited this Korea cafe a few times and I have tried different dishes that can be found in Korean street (that is why the name of this cafe is ~ The Street Cafe) This time I choose 2 have my favourite Bibimbap. Original Korean Bibimbap in Korea is still the BEST !

In my opinion, I think the foods that I have been tried during my very first visit is better as the dishes were cooked by Korean boss but now....cooked by foreign workers (out of original standard)....haiz... Anyway, u may have a try as the Korean foods that are available there are quite cheap and varieties.

Strolled all the way down at Jln. Segar, Pudu to search for beverages and foods that could fulfill our thirst and hunger with battle kaki after finished and satisfied of smashing in the whole evening.

The most satisfied foods that we got there was these 2 plates of dishes.
1) Above is the white carrot cakes and yam cakes which were served with sweet sauce and chilies sauce (optional). The texture was damn soft and it seemed to melt itself once u put into your mouth esp. the white carrot cake.

2) Below is the most famous Curry Chee Cheong Fun (Curry rice noodle rolls). It is famous together with the crispy pig skin. Price : rm1.40 (s), rm2.80(L). The yellow curry gravy is poured over the tantalizing Chee Cheong Fun. Even though it looked ordinary at first, the addition of crispy pig skin, dried shrimps and sesame seeds enhanced the appearance and taste of this particular dish. It was fragrant but not that really spicy. Just nice ! Lotz of customers !

ABC was so so nia. cant compared with Penang's ABC. ><

Both of the guys said this Char Koay Teow was nice and indeed it looked delicious too from its appearance. I nearly order another plate of this for myself.

This is kinda grilled taufu with slices of cucumber in it, fried prawns biscuits with some special sauce and fried crispy peanuts on top of it. Look unusual and taste special. 1 word to describe: Crispy !

This so called "jiao zhi" but it's actually "chai gui" for me. Taste so so only. dun buy.

A revisit to A- Wet Thai (nonhalal) with 2 'Ukraine' guys n 'singer..... The most recommended restaurant to visit for Thai cuisine at Yulek Garden near Pantai Specialist Hosp., Cheras. hhhmmm....All of them was satisfied to the food there with thumbs up. esp. the roasted bbq pork neck. Some of them claimed that those dishes were not spicy enough to stimulate their taste buds but one of them 'cried' on the spot. Sweating somemore. ><

Seafood TomYam Soup~ rm7.80 (per person) but is drank by 3 guys. The portion was quite big.

Petai is up to standard but I prefer my mum's style of cooking.....

This is the recommended roasted pork neck....every 30 gm (rm21). One said this is even nicer than the usual red roasted pork that Chinese eat usually.

This dish comprised of 3 kinda seafood (ie. fish, prawn n ?). Cooked in sour sweat sauce. Nice !

After 2 whole weeks of hectic moment, Friday Night is the day for me to relax and no book! ^^ Of course this was the day to meet my friend after being not meeting each other for 1 month....Here came our secret girl chat as well as met up with Andy, Woody, Buzz n their friends. Felt kinda relax to return to the kids world.

Alexis bistro & wine bar is a comfortable place to dine in and an ideal place to have gathering as well.

I was pretty kinda craving for Mozzarella cheese that day....Yeah! Cheesy! Cheesy ! Ai-Funghi Frutti di Mare pizza (consist of 2 diff. type of recipes) was our ordered on that particular nite. Upper half was made up of 4 types of different kinda muchrooms, light tomato crispy and crusty based and of course CHEESE ! Lower half was baked with seafoods like mussels and big prawns with stringy of Mozzarella cheese together.

Ang Ang was raving for this Tiramisu cake, so we ended up of this as one of our dessert. Personally, I love cheese and chocolate cake much more than others but I'm kinda fond to this Tiramisu cake as well when I had my first mouthful of this. It was coated with a layer of caramelised mixed nuts on top of it with a mixture of soft sponge cake infused with Tiramisu coffee liquer and a layer of CHOCOLATE slices. U may served it with the jam, optional(Raspberry, I guess) which provide another kinda taste to your cake. Awesome !

This Mixed Fruit Meringue with a light, delicate, crisp crust and a soft sweet marshmallow center. Lovely with softly whipped cream and fresh strawberries and blueberry. It melts magically when you have your first spoon of this and I thought it was sweet at the very beginning as how it looked but it was not. Spectacular ! I will like to have another visit to Alexis in one day later to try out another different type of cakes..... ^^

Here... This is where I have gone to for the first 2 weeks of my final year of varsity. This Slim River GH is quite spacious and large in such a small town of SR. I guess this is the most magnificence building in this little town. It consists of 6 floors and quite high tech. built in, is comparable with my varsity hosp.You may feel peace when you are there. Peace in mind and soul ....Green environment !

I was pretty lucky to be there where I get a nice supervisor who is willing to teach and all the Drs and sisters are friendly as well. Everyone is nice over there. They respect everyone.

This was where me and my colleague went after 2 weeks in SR prior getting back to the jam area. Chili's

We could see that there are LCD plasma TVs fixed up every corner of the restaurant. It was FIFA world's cup (German vs Serbia)...Everyone was enjoying and "Goal!"

Post 1 week PPD + BTN camp, post 1 week Pead. posting at SLim River.....Finally managed to have an opportunity 2 vroomed back on that very weekend where we do not have any oncalls....

My little two sisters decided to have Thai cuisine at Koh-Samui as we passed by the row of shop behind Ipoh Jusco.

Fresh Mango Juice(rm4) ~ Recommended ! It is a healthy beverage with mango fibres, concentrated sweet mango flavour and it is actually fresh blended on the spot. Succulent! The best mango juice that I have ever try for the moment.

C-O-C-O-N-U-T~NUT! Yes! Coconut water~

KAI GREEN CURRY cooked with chicken (rm9.80)~Not really spicy but nice !

It was indeed an uneasy job for being to Bukit Bintang area. I would rather go elsewhere which is further without any congestive jam. It is hard to predict which of the KL area will be jam and what time will start jam(Just like weather)....Somehow sometimes we are forced to go there for some personal business... As a result of our own personal business, we ended up at Bkt. Bintang in this stuffy rainy evening. Then, we have made up our mind to explore the food court that consists of famous hawker stalls in M'sia n Singapore as been introduced by magazines and food blogs~Lot 10 Hutong is the place at the lower ground floor of Lot 10.

The foods over there were pretty expensive compared to where their original hawker stalls outside of this food court. I guess it is because of the overpriced rental that they are paying for and maybe that place is means for tourists.

Black sesame ice ~ rm9.90....Just nice with the special flavour of black sesame. It was well matched with the fried aromatic groundnut~

There are quite a number of stalls selling food like Japanese, Western and mostly Chinese dishes. It is a non-halal food court.

何荣记(Hor Weng Kee) ~ ??排骨面=rm 8.90. Just nice when served in warm condition. Better finish your food in a few minutes as they are still in hot mode because the air-conditioned food court may cold the food down faster compared to where you used to eat in a mamak stall outside in M'sia so called warmly and sunny weather.

You may find Petaling Street~Kim Lian Kee here and you may see this stall has the longest queue among the other stalls. I recommend that it is better to visit their original restaurant at Petaling street. I think the food selling here will be costly more than their own restaurant.

You may find Petaling Street~ Famous Hon Kee Porridge there as well.

鸿泰 (Hong Tai) ~ Singapore food stall.

Their 福建面(Hokkien Mee)~ rm 10.90. This is so different compared to ours. It was yummy with all the combination ingredients. Recommended !

老油记(Lou Yao Kee)~ The food sold there was "so-so". >< First time bought this kinda kuih in such exorbitant price. One fried sesame ball with filling inside cost me rm1.40 not include tax.

This Taufu Fa was not that soft as what we get in Ipoh but still considered better than Taufu Fa that we get usually in KL night market. Ipoh Taufu Fa still is the best for us with cheaper price some more !

P/S~I wont go there again somehow some of the dishes there is not bad....

Restaurant Haeun Khon (海云轩）is a restaurant serving korean, japanese and chinese cuisine, mainly korean cuisine. After leaving Korea for around 2 months, I miss Korean food so much and I have decided to have Korean food once before I enter the jungle of Pahang~PPD camp and before I start to have all my posting. T_T

It was fully occupied with customers and korean food lovers. Most of them is office workers, i guess during that particular lunch hour. There was a few tables being reserved at that moment.

Dak Bulgogi Jungsik Soup ~rm 14.90 where we was actually wanted to order Bulgogi Jungsik instead of this but never mind~ At least we have tried something special here....It tasted nice with some kind like Chinese herbal chicken soup.

Kimchi Jjikeh (RM15.90), where cabbage kimchi is cooked in soup with ingredients like onion, tofu, chili, chicken (or beef), carrot, enoki mushroom, glass noodle and a fat rice noodle. My friends ate until sweated profusely.

Dol Sot Pi-Pim Pab (RM14.90) with a choice of chicken or beef topping. I was pondering what is the reason behind that this restaurant sells Korean dishes at this kinda cheap prices compared to others. Then, I knew it after they served our orders. The ingredients that they used were usual ingredients that we can simply get from anywhere in the market in a cheaper price and the rice that they used to cook is totally different from the rice that I ate prior this in Korea. The rice that I ate in Korea was a bit sticky, oval in shape and just like the rice that people use to make sushi. Anyway, overall~ Satisfied ! *Mashisoyo!*XD

1st time with Porky's burger

Wednesday is the day ! We finally have a chance of getting to devour the pork burger that has been granted with quite a lot of high and good comments on it and there are 20% discount on every Wednesday with every order of pork burger!

Cristang Restaurant which located at the 8 Avenue of PJ is basically a Portuguese cuisine restaurant with mixture of western cuisine. It is popular with their pork burger.

We ordered the Garden Salads (rm16.90) as to maintain the level of FIBERS in our body. It was served in a large portion.

Their pork burger mainly consists of pork patty, minced pork tossed with chilli and chopped petai, bacon, melted cheese, tomatoes and chilies. There are some combination especailly tiwh petai patty which sounds odd in serving this kinda style but it was pretty good! Every bits is delicious mouthful of intriguing flavour.

After doing some shopping with our newly discovered secret shopaholic~RY, we was desired for some drinks. As we passed by this Jonker Sweets (tong sui stall) without any ideas of direction, we decided to have a try on those desserts that looked attractive to us.

Our orders were not too bad and every order comes with a free plate of taro cake. This honey dew sago coconut ice milk(rm6.90) was better than tin pan kor kor. It was not overly sweet with the natural flavour of honey dew. In addition, the big sago which looked like pearl was an impeccable match. The FOC~Taro cake tasted just nice with the smooth and soft texture. The ICE which played a vital role in this bowl of dessert was fine in tiny little ice crystals!

When you think of HOMI, you'll think of CURRY PUFF !

HOMI CURRY PUFF comes with crunchy layers of skin with filling of potatoes, curry chicken and etc. It tasted buttery and terrified when it was just fried freshly. It is available at rm2 per piece.

Petaling Street again in this month. Reached around 10am....There are a wide variety of famous and nice food along Jln. Hang Lekir at Petaling Street.

There is a small stall selling this sweet potato balls beside the Jln. Hang Lekir, Tang City Food Court. It was rich with sweet potato flavour and it is better to have it in "fresh" state (just fried n ready2 devour it). 10pcs~rm2.

Quoted from The Star’s Food Guide:

The sweet potatoes are first steamed and mashed, and then mixed with sugar and flour to form the marble-sized balls, which are fried until golden brown. They are delicious eaten hot, accompanied by a steaming mug of coffee.

~滑溜溜~MaChi: rm5 (mix flavour). Choices of flavours: mango, ribena, kiwi, lychee, green tea, original n etc. It wont get stick on your teeth when you chew it and the structure was soft which was totally different from Penang MaChi. The flour kuih is better then Penang Machi but the peanut powder was not that peanut-aromatic.

Location: The stall is placed near the cross road junction of Petaling Street, near Hong Leong Bank and Kim Lian Kee Restaurant.

Shin Kee Beef Noodles Specialist is settled slight opposite of Central Market. It is a small kinda stall with crowded of people inside. Customer who may 12 try on it have to line up if it is fulled with people inside.
Each set of this beef noodles comes with a bowl of noodles topped with minced meat. It was awesome!

An absolute match of this elastic meat balls and the tripe !

Kim Lian Kee Restaurant is located slight opposite of Hong Leong Bank, exactly at the main junction of Petaling Street, along the Hang Lekir road. It is famous with its Hokkien Mee/"Dai Luk Min". Besides, there served around 280++ different kinda Chinese dishes. Tong Sui is available there with only rm1.50 per bowl.

Business hour= 11am~11pm daily except second week wednesday of the month.

Hokkien Mee~ It was savoury and perfect served with fresh prawn and fried minced pork.

Nice Apom found at the same row of Hon Kee Raw Porridge Stall along the Hang Lekir road. Only 50 cents per piece. Smell and taste good with the santan ! This is from the mobile stall and sold by an elderly uncle. Apam Balik is available too !

Craving of TONG SUI(Chinese dessert) ? Sweet Bean Restaurant is recommended which situated at Tmn. OUG, Sri Petaling came to my mind. It was around 7.30pm, the restaurant was almost fulled with customers even somebody made reservation for dinner there. This means the food served by this restaurant possibly is pretty good and satisfied. The restaurant is well decorated with modern style of interior design and the waiters are good in their service as well. They served average prices range of food like Chinese cuisine, western cuisine and of course their TONG SUI, dessert and beverages. The price of main course is around rm7~14. While tong sui and dessert is around rm 3~8. Each person may roughly need around rm 10++ to have their flavouring meal.

Most of us satisfied with those tong sui that we have ordered on the evening. Overall not overly sweet, the original flavour of tong sui is there and the quality is maintained in the paste form. Some of it was served in a special way. Peanut paste with cold tou fu fa~ rm 4.80.

This is kinda mix n' match way of serving, Peanut paste+sesame glutinous dumpling~rm4.80.

When u feel a bit bored with the taste of peanut paste, u may have the other bowl of ginger soup. Apart from that, u may choose which paste or soup to served with the sesame glutinous dumpling. Love the dumpling !

This is kinda Thai style. The sweet mango was matched perfectly with the glutinous rice.

I heard the wantan mee there is famous. Hence, I ordered this chef recommended steam chicken with BBQ pork wantan mee ~rm7.50. It was nice but a bit overly salty.

Baked rice with cheese topping. rm 13.90. It was "so-so" only. The cheese taste is mixed with the baked rice.

If possible, I'll make a second visit to this restaurant again. After having our dinner, my friend even "da bao" second bowl of tong sui home as supper....
